Kansas City was recently recognized as the 2006 PacLease Franchise of the Year. Kansas City was first named the Central Region winner. Six regional winners are chosen, and from that group of six, the National Franchise of the Year is awarded. PacLease frachises are scored based on criteria that include four major areas: sales, administration, operations and maintenance. PacLease’s regional manager scores each branch and identifies how each franchise performs.
MHC Truck Leasing President & General Manager Reed Murphy said this award is particularly impressive because the award is chosen out of 280 PacLease Franchises, both Kenworth and Peterbilt, across the United States and Canada.
"This is a good program to measure our performance among our peers in the industry," Reed said.
Branch Manager Larry Novak said the award is important to Kansas City for many reasons.
"This award means that we at Kansas City are the best of the best," he said. "It means that we are working together as a team to be better than the competition."
"We worked hard last year to build a comfort level between MHC and our customers," Larry said. "In the leasing business, we are not just selling them a truck; we are selling them a partnership that will hopefully last a lifetime and beyond."
Several other MHC Truck Leasing facilities qualified for awards this year. MHC Truck Leasing - Dallas and MHC Truck Leasing - Denver both received the Excellence award. MHC Truck Leasing - Atlanta, MHC Truck Leasing - Colorado Springs, MHC Truck Leasing - Fort Smith and MHC Truck Leasing - Tulsa all received Honorable mention awards.
